blogbutterflyaward1

A few months ago, I was offered the Butterfly Award by Yvonne Whiting, Golden Bay High School Librarian http://gblibrary.blogspot.com/. It really pleased me, both acknowledging my efforts and making me feel confident in building up a thriving blog. I am now pleased to pass the Butterfly Award on to:

Bridget Shaumann’s informative and passionate college library blog http://thekingslibraryblog.blogspot.com/

Annie’s blog: http://wpsroom10.blogspot.com/ the first blog I have seen that supports children learning in a very engaging way.

Judy Freeman’s site ReadKidDoRead “dedicated to making kids readers for life”, has great book lists and discussions.

Last but not least, I like (and use) Molly Lundquist’s Litlover Blog and Website, which has many good new book reviews and has great book club tools.

This is a meme* award and the rules for passing it on are:

1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Award up to ten other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blogs.

*meme (mi:m) NOUN an idea or element of social behaviour passed on through generations in a culture. Collins English Dictionary

  1. Wow, a butterfly award. Thanks so much. That is very exciting. The boys and I are delighted.
